This is a powerhouse vacuum sealer! I really love this item, and so easy to use. When you receive this item it already has the batteries to place into the unit, that lets you start right in using the product. You have to remember to place items side by side and not on top of each other or you will have made each item stuck to the other. I wish that the smaller bags were available, as being a single person household, I don't use the larger bags as much. Hint Hint HSN, get Debbie to bring more of the quart size bags into stock as well as the gallon size. Thanks Debbie for a great money saver, plan to use this for a long time. The size makes it easy to store, and saves space on your counter top. Get one, you will also love your purchase.

I have a food saver but for small things, especially if they are going to be consumed soon, I like this better. I have used it for cheese, lunch meat, English muffins, etc. Used it also for packing some small things in the car. Use it quite often.

Love it. I did not waste my money on this one. I cleaned my freezer of boxes. Was amazed at the extra space I have in my freezer. Was able to separate my meats in to separate meals. So quick and easy.

I got this a week ago and just yesterday bought a large thing of chicken breasts on sale...and was impressed at how easy this was to use and it WORKED perfectly. Being single, its nice to buy in large quantity and re-package in single portions. It will save me a lot of money. I see where you can buy the bags on Amazon!

I love this product! This is perfect for sealing smaller portions of food products. We have one of the large Food Sealers, but this is handier for me to use. This is very quick and prevents freezer burn, plus when I have leftovers, I use to send dinners home for my son and his family. Thank you Debbie Meyer and HSN.

These bags keep food fresh, even without the vac. I use them in frig and in the freezer which means more space for me to put other things. Easy to use, keeps my greens (lettuce, spinach, cabbage... etc, fresh longer.

When I moved recently, I forgot a whole kitchen drawer full of my favorite utinsels. The new owner thought it was on purpose and threw everything out, including my Handi-Vac. I was devistated!!! I really like this product! I have the large food saver and it's used in my commercial kitchen, works great, but I wanted something for my home kitchen, (wasn't sure it would work, but I got it home and immediately did some home grown raspberries. I pre-froze them and then use my newer hand held machine and it worked great. We raise alot of our own fruits & veggies, so having this extra machine was a blessing, no more wasting foods. Thank you for a very nice, great working product.

I Love this product so much that I am ordering it in advance for members of my family for Christmas. My mother is elderly and cannot use the large vacumn sealers. We spent over $100 on "the best" and supposibly the easiest sealer out there and she cannot even use it. She lived during the depression and still feels the need to "stock up". Well she has a kitchen and 2 garage freezers full. Most is freezer burnt because the seals were not intact. This is sooooo convenient to pull out use, reuse, over and over.

I have a large vacum seal machine but wanted a small one for use in my beach house. This one is the ticket! It seals just as well as large machine and easy to handle. Would definitely reccommend.

I HAVE HAD THREE FOODSAVER PRODUCTS AND AFTER A COUPLE OF MONTHS BOTH QUIT WORKING. I WAS SOMEWHAT SKEPTICAL ABOUT THIS PRODUCT BUT DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY. I'M SO GLAD THAT I DID. IT DOESN'T TAKE UP ANY OF MY LIMITED COUNTER SPACE....I JUST STORE IT IN A DRAWER WITH THE BAGS. IT VACUMNS AS WELL AS THE BIG FOOD SAVER ONES AND THE BAGS CAN BE USED OVER AND OVER WITHOUT WASTING LIKE WITH THE FOOD SAVER BAGS. I CAN SAVE MONEY BY BUYING IN BULK AND VACUMN SOME OF IT AND STORE IT IN THE FREEZER. LOVE IT AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY.

This item works very well. It really pulls the air out of the bag and seals the food tightly. I use it for fruit (for my Yonanas machine!) and for cheese and meat. I just ordered more of the 1 quart size bags. For two people, that's the size I will use most. Great product at a great price! I feel it probably works as well as the higher priced items like it.

I own a food saver as well, but. It's inconvenient, I have to haul it out every time I want to use it and a little awkward to use. Not Dennie Meyers system! The first bag or two is tricky to learn how to get it going, after that its a breeze. I had my groceries all packed up for freezing and cheeses prepared for the frig in half the time. I leave the vacuum on my island counter in a basket and my husband started using it. He thinks it is keeping the freshness longer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I love this little gadget! I eat mostly fruits and veggies and have my own fruit trees and needed something to keep this food longer. Considering the inexpensive price, I LOVE IT! My high society sister spent $150 on her sealer with expensive bags one cannot reuse. Though I do think new bags for this are costly, its not as bad as the fancy outfit my sister wasted her money on. I LOVE THIS !!! One has to hold the hand vac just right sometimes, but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it !
